Every Morning the Most Popular Girl at School Sits Next to Me on the Train – 39

Hi everyone,

radaemon here, here’s the next chapter. tortuga will probably be a little busy for a little bit, so I’ll be doing the postings in the mean time. Sorry for the delay on this chapter though, I’ve been really busy with a school project recently for a club that I’m in and didn’t have as much time to translate. We just had our competition though so it should have more time now as it dies down. In case you guys are interested, the club that I’m in does combat robotics. I’ll just put a picture of our robot at the bottom because I’m pretty proud of the work I did with my team. But anyways, here’s the chapter and I hope you guys enjoy it.

Monku Tsukeyou ga Nai Rabukome – Volume 1: Prologue

Hi everyone, radaemon here. This post is really sudden, but I thought to show you guys a preview of what we will be working on when we get to the end of Every Morning the Most Popular Girl Sits Next to Me on the Train, or when we catch up to it. This is something I actually translated a while back, and kind of what got me into wanting to translate. Most of the first volume is translated, but just needs a lot of editing since I did it with very little knowledge of reading Japanese. The language used in this is also a lot more complicated than that used in the web novel we are currently translating. The translation speed will also be a lot slower for this because chapters are a lot longer, but I’ll hopefully find some nice places to break long chapters into parts and release those parts. Anyways, enough with the explanations, here’s the link to the chapter:

>>Prologue<<

As you guys are reading though, I do have one question for feedback that I would appreciate some thought on. Basically, Kanaruzawa Sekai (or Sekai Kanaruzawa the Western way) speaks from my understanding, in an archaic or very old way when it comes to Japanese. I was wondering whether you guys wanted me to attempt to mimic that in some way, or leaving it like it currently is.

Oh, and I do understand that the beginning of this has been translated before.

Every Morning the Most Popular Girl at School Sits Next to Me on the Train – 17

Hi everyone,

radaemon here, here’s the next chapter. From now on, we’re changing the way the Yoshiki and Yui refer to each other as siblings in dialogue. We’ll be putting the Japanese instead of translating to English. Also, we have noticed sometimes that our way of denoting transitions may have been somewhat confusing, so from now on, a straight horizontal line will always mean a perspective change while for time skips, we’ll be using larger spaces instead. I will be going back through the chapters to change all of these in the near future. As always, thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy!
