Hiiragi-chan and the Haunted House — First Part
“It’s nice that we were able to sell out.”
Haaah~, Hiiragi-chan let out a long sigh.
When I notified Sana, who had already started her role as a ghost, this text came back,
[Sanada Curry, Victory!!]
No, but you lost in popularity by a fair margin.
Since the curry had been sold out, we stuck a sign saying “Sold out” on the home economics club stand, and closed shop for the day. Tomorrow, there will probably be some repeaters that ate curry today, and also people that come after hearing about reviews. The number of customers will probably end up increasing.
“Sorry, I need to help my class out.”
“Go ahead.”
“…I’ll clean up with Sensei.”
My shift will last two hours starting at 2:00. Afterwards, I’ll just meet up with Natsumi-chan and Hiiragi-chan to hang out.
“Sorry, and thank you!”
After saying that, I headed towards Class 2B.
To me, compared to the hustle and bustle of the curry house, serving customers at the café was easy. I was able to give precise orders as I patrolled the shop.
“Sanada-kun, do you have experience being a store manager?”
“Just doing as you tell us makes everything run so smoothly! Thank you ♪”
Two girls (both cute) who were in charge of making pancakes thanked me.
“That’s not true. You guys are great at making pancakes. If it was me, I would probably burn them.”
When I made my small joke, the girls chuckled a bit. As this was happening, I was grabbed firmly by the shoulder from behind.
“Sanada-kuuuuuunnn… What are you enjoyably talking with the girls about?”
Mr. I’ll definitely kill any person enjoying their youth, Fujimoto, had bloodshot eyes.
“Hey, the one who missed two or three orders, Fujimoto. How are you doing?”
“Haauu…”
Fujimoto shrunk.
“I apologize for the inconvenience I caused at that time… Thanks to Sanada-sama’s nice follow up, nothing too troubling happened…”
Hey, your character has changed. Well, it wasn’t that big of a mistake so it was alright.
The classroom clock was about to turn 4:00. Our school festival is one that goes slightly later, to about 6:00 in the afternoon. Two more hours.
Just as I was taking off the apron that I was using for the café, Natsumi-chan poked her head in.
“Ah, there he is. You’re already done, right? Let’s go.”
“Yeah. I’ll be there soon.”
When I was trying to leave, my arm was grabbed.
“You… what, is that…?”
Mr. I’ll definitely kill any person enjoying their youth, Fujimoto, had bloodshot eyes. It’s great that he’s lively.
“That, isn’t that a girl from another school…? Y-y-y-y-you, no way… cheating…?”
Eh?
“W-what do you mean, cheating…”
Is it because, he knows, about that?
“When you have a best friend like me… Cheating on me with a girl from another school…!”
Please die for me.
“That’s why you said you wouldn’t go around with me…? Explain, explain for me… Sanadaaaaaa…”
If I go like this, this person will turn into a spirit.
“It’s Hiiragi-chan’s little sister. She asked me to show her around the school.”
“You won’t be forgiven… I’m just dealing with customers in the classroom… and yet… you… you’re with a girl at the school festival…”
“Fujimoto, there’s two more hours. If you push through and survive here you will finally be recognized as the mob character that makes up for the slackers, you know?”
“In the end, I’m still just a mob character?”
“Adding on the title of a free person that couldn’t go around the school festival with other people.”
“Don’t stick something weird on it.”
So, this is how it turns out if he isn’t able to go around the school festival with me.
“It’s okay, we won’t be alone.”
When I said that, Fujimoto’s miasma like aura disappeared.
“Sanada, good luck.”
“Y-yeah.”
“Leave things over here to me and go on ahead…!”
Fu———Fujimottooooooooooo!
“… Wait, rather, other than here.”
“Don’t say it.”
“You don’t have anywhere to go other than here, right?”
“Didn’t I tell you not to say it!?”
Entrusting Fujimoto and the other girls with the classroom, I left. There, two beautiful sisters were waiting for me.
“Sanada-kun, good work.”
Hiiragi-chan smiled.
“Thief-kun, we waited quite a bit, you know? Let’s go, let’s go!”
Natsumi-chan pulled on my arm and started walking.
“Where are we going?”
“Isn’t that obvious? Sana-chan’s haunted house.”
“We’ve already gone about three times already, you know?”
Hiiragi-chan laughed.
“Haru-chan is a scaredy-cat, so she doesn’t tag along at all.”
“That’s not true, I wasn’t scared at all.”
Ah, that’s something a scared person would say.
“She said she would be fine if Thief-kun was also there, you see.”
“Y-you didn’t have to say that, right?”
Looking at Hiiragi-chan, who was blushing in embarrassment, Natsumi laughed. That reminds me, we haven’t been on an amusement park date. I’m also not great with haunted houses.
When I asked about the curry, it seems that the cleaning up and preparations for tomorrow was done. All that’s left is Sana’s part. It’s just the normal cooking method, so they had already done some of the cooking process for her apparently. Really, they’re quite skillful, Hiiragi-chan and Kanata that is.
When we arrived at Sana’s haunted house, there was no one in line and so it seemed like we could get in immediately.
[Rule. If you’re not alone. Hold hands with that person please.]
In the instant we saw that, Hiiragi-chan and I held hands at the speed of light.
“Then, I’ll be on the other side. Nishishi. It’s like you have flowers in both hands, Thief-kun.”
“Sei… Sanada-kun, definitely don’t let go, okay…? Definitely, never let go.”
Is she an ostrich or something? [1]
“Definitely, definitely, deeeefffinitely, don’t let go, okay…?”
When I took a glance at Natsumi-chan, she indicated with her chin, “Do it.” The fact that she thought it would be more interesting that way, was written on her face. Why do these sisters have such different personalities?
Hiiragi-chan was already completely scared and tearing up, so I’ll just hold hands. I’ll probably end up having Natsumi-chan complain to me later though. However, if there’s a rule like this, I can openly hold hands with Hiiragi-chan inside.
I’m curious though about watching that child’s acting up close… Don’t do anything spiteful, okay?
“Then, let’s go.”
Inside, it was quite well made. It was completely dark, and everyone in a while bamboo grass blocked our field of view. I could faintly hear some mumbling… W-what is it, it’s a little worrisome…
“Thief-kun, move faster.”
“W-w-w-wait. I said wait.”
“So, Thief-kun is also scared.”
“S-shut up. I-I’m not scared.”
“Ah, that’s what a scared person would say.”
Hiiragi-chan in this moment was clinging to my arm with her eyes shut.
“A-are we there yet? Did we get out?”
Her breasts… Hiiragi-chan’s breasts are touching… When I concentrated on the feeling from my arm, a pale light flashed, and there was a head——
“Howaaahh!?”
“W-w-w-whaaat!?”
Rather, wait, it’s just the head from a mannequin that you might see in a salon… It was still quite scary though…
“Seiji-kun, are you okay?”
“Yeah, I’m fine…”
Wait, you didn’t call me by Sanada-kun. Well, I guess it’s fine.
Hiiragi-chan still had her eyes shut tightly.
Nastumi-chan, who was following at the end, cupped her hands and laughed at our scared manner.
“Haaaah. That was fun. It was worth the wait.”
Her smile was ecstatic.
“You really have a great personality.”
“Thanks.”
I’m not complimenting you.
“Ummm, Sensei, your breasts, are touching…”
“I-it’s fine. It’s an emergency right now.”
It was already at a level where she didn’t care it seems. While feeling the pressure of Hiiragi-chan’s breasts on my right arm, we moved forward.
TN:
- I believe this has something to do with how she’s positioned probably all scrunched up and clinging to him.
Thnx for the chapter!
What if Fujimoto caused Seiji to mentally travel through time?
The melancholy of Haruhi Fujimoto
I find it much more normal to have classes named 1-1, 1-2, etc. and 2-A, 2-B, etc. In my alma mater secondary school, the most premiere school in the state, our classes were names with the format of [Year]-[Name of a Gem]. It was rather confusing. We had, Diamond class, which was usually the top class (usually, not always), Topaz class, which was usually the 2nd top class (usually, not always), Jade, and various other gem names. So it was usually something like 1-Diamond, 1-Topaz, etc. and each year has 2 top gems, since we only had a 1st class and 2nd class, while the rest had their students systematically and evenly distributed, which wasn’t a problem, since our whole school was full of top notch teachers.
But the guys from my school would try to trick girls from other schools with the A, B, C, etc. system, saying that since their class gem started with the an earlier letter, they were from a better class than the top class whose class gem started with Z. A lot of girls would get tricked this way.
