Let’s Think About Our Self Introduction

[I have a good idea for our self-introduction.]

That was the message I received from Kouri. A good idea… Is it?

[Can you even think of something that isn’t inappropriate?]

Kouri uses emoticons to express her dissatisfaction in an adorable manner. Kouri prefers to express herself with emoticons like these rather than stickers.

[It doesn’t matter if it’s improper.]

So, it doesn’t matter?

[Since we have the chance, I want it to have a big impact on everyone.]

[We’re married in our third year of high school. I think that’s enough impact.]

What more could you need?

[Tsk~ Tsk~ Tsk~ You don’t understand anything, Mii-kun.]

Kouri sure does love using ‘Tsk~ Tsk~ Tsk~’ a lot, even in text.

[Yes, yes. So, what kind of master plan does Kouri have?]

I decided that we needed to move on, so I urged her to proceed.

[Our self-introduction is usually one person at a time, yes?]

[That’s right. It’s not a two-man comedy act after all.]

[So, why don’t we just introduce ourselves together?]

[That… I will feel a little bad for Haru-sensei. There is a possibility that she doesn’t even know that we got married.]

[I know that~ So I’ll introduce myself as the wife, and Mii-kun can introduce himself as the husband.]

Kouri seems rather stubborn about this. And when she is stubborn, she makes sure that her demands are met. Well, it does seem interesting, it should be alright.

[Roger that. Then, do you want me to go up once Kouri is called?]

[Yes, and if Mii-kun is called first, then call out to me.]

[Alright.]

[So, about the self-introduction itself…] 

Kouri’s plan is straightforward, and it can be said that it is extremely effective in having an impact on others.

[I wonder if Haru-sensei will be okay with this, the plan that is.]

[It’ll be all right if we’re imposing enough.]

[We’re past the point of thinking about it. Alright, let’s do it]

Kouri sure does love these strange schemes. However, I was also attracted to thinking about such exciting things.

Then, the self-introductions of our classmates began. Each person was allotted about three minutes, and since the class consists of 30 people, it should take about 90 minutes. The self-introduction is a great opportunity for those that wish to make a class-change debut.

Looking around, I noticed that there are people that are excited to make an impression on their new classmates. However, there are only a certain few ways high-school students can introduce themselves. You can appeal with your athletic ability, awe people with your academic prowess, or make an impression with the way of the otaku.

It was actually Koutaro’s self-introduction that was out of the norm.

“I’m Nishino Koutaro. As far as I can tell, I already know most of the people here. My hobbies include moving my body and playing competitive sports. I also read a bit on the side. I’m not a very interesting person, but I hope we get along well this year. I’ll finish it off by showing you a special skill of mine.”

After that, he kicked the podium and landed on an open part of the classroom after a backwards somersault.

“This was my little trick. Nice to meet you all!”

The classroom was filled with thunderous applause following the display of Koutaro’s skill. Koutaro, who has always liked somersaults for some reason, has many special skills of that kind. There weren’t many other introductions with this amount of impact.

I looked at Haru-sensei who was watching the situation, and she was sweating bullets.

“It was a spectacular introduction, but it’s dangerous to jump in the air like that, so please consult with your teacher in advance, okay?”

If a student were to receive a fracture during self-introduction, it would be really scary for the teacher in charge.

“This guy, really… I shouldn’t be surprised that he wants to do something like this.”

Sekka sighed while sitting on her seat.

“Give up. You were already aware of his quirks and still chose to date him.”

“Despite the flaws, I thought it would be okay, but now I’m regretting it a bit.”

“Well, good luck to you.”

Koutaro is not a bad guy. However, there are some strange parts about him such as suddenly somersaulting in the middle of self-introduction. However, I think that Sekka who can accept him is quite compatible with him, but it will be a bumpy ride.

While thinking of such things, the time of our self-introduction had come around.

“Next is Kudou-san… Wait, Kudou-san? I wonder if I made a mistake in writing Kurashiki. Kurashiki Kouri-san, please introduce yourself.”

It must have been suspicious that Kouri’s surname had changed. Ah, this girl really wants to make Haru-sensei’s stomach churn.

I’ve resolved myself to do it, but should I really go through with it?
